Work experience:
First professional experience in legal sector gained in 1995 in the Tax and Duties System Policy department of Ministry of Finance and Legal department of State Revenue Service. Expertise in taxation was further developed occupying a tax advisor position at KPMG Latvia. Practical experience in banking legislation and banking as such was gained when working as Manager of Legal Department, Manager of Legal Department and Administrative Division and Board Member at AS Baltic International Bank. In 2004 started practicing independently as sworn advocate and insolvency administrator. Since then has managed more than 120 insolvency proceedings of natural and legal persons. Since 2020, practices at law office TREY.
Expertise/ specialization:
Expert in banking and finance legislation and insolvency proceedings. Provides development and management of plans of measures of legal protection proceedings, client consulting regarding their business plans, consultations on the adaptation of Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism and Proliferation Financing, client representation in criminal proceedings, including laundering and other material/property issues.
